Late start to South mas
ALTHOUGH there was a late start to parade of bands on Carnival Tuesday in San Fernando, masqueraders made up for lost time with exuberance and wild abandon. Ivan Kalicharan’s We Going Carnival was the first band to hit the streets at 11 am, parading before a panel of judges on High Street in San Fernando.

COMMISSIONER of Police (CoP) Dwayne Gibbs yesterday heaped praise on members of the public including masqueraders and also members of the TT Police Service for a job well done in ensuring the Carnival festivities were relatively incident free.
